Gabriel Adei Posted August 8, 2007 at 03:53 PM Posted August 8, 2007 at 03:53 PM Hi All, Has anyone out there gotten their PSS to work with any Goflight system? Thanks
Norman Blackburn Posted August 8, 2007 at 04:21 PM Posted August 8, 2007 at 04:21 PM It depends on what you want to achieve. If you are trying to marry up the MCP then you can pretty well forget it - especially if you are wanting the LED displays since: a. Airbus works in a different way than Boeing and b. no information on what the PSS airbus is displaying is p[Mod - Happy Thoughts]ed back for use by a 3rd party. You can have some of the controls done using keypress / FSUIPC. If you look in the user edits on PSS website you will find an excel docomeent that a user made showing what keys operate which function and how these can be mapped to various goflight units. Gabriel Adei Posted August 8, 2007 at 04:25 PM Author Posted August 8, 2007 at 04:25 PM Well I guess that answers my question. No p[Mod - Happy Thoughts] back from PSS to third party systems. Other than the throttle and yoke I cant get any of my Goflight systems to talk to the aircraft. Cant set com radios, nav radios, MCP or anything at all. Bummer on this one. Norman Blackburn Posted August 8, 2007 at 04:28 PM Posted August 8, 2007 at 04:28 PM Com / nav radios work fine, certainly as far as the 330/340 are concerned. Norman
Gabriel Adei Posted August 9, 2007 at 12:54 PM Author Posted August 9, 2007 at 12:54 PM I only have the A319/320 and nothing works for it. Do i have to do anything special for the com/nav radios to work. Granted this is quite a complicated panel but i've spent some time with the manuals.
