Jan Naslund Posted August 16, 2007 at 03:52 AM Posted August 16, 2007 at 03:52 AM Hi, I live in Stockholm, Sweden and this was one of those mornings when i just couldn't sleep so i got up,fired up my pc and saw plenty of ATC in the US. Great!!! I am using FSNav for flightplanning and i started planning a flight from Phoenix to LAX. The departure was no problem but when i was plotting the SEAVU1 arrival into LAX there were 3 intersections missing in FSNav. They are CATAW, SEAVU and DIXXN. They are the 3 last intersections on the star and therefore quite important. I got the SEAVU1 chart from the VATUSA ZLA homepage but i also got it from Myairplane.com. Same chart. On the chart it says 18-Jan-2007 to 15-Feb-2007. Could the chart be outdated? I have downloaded and installed the latest AIRAC0708 for FSNav. Because i like to be able to fly according to the standard procedures I disconnected and skipped the flight. I'll try it another morning instead. Does anyone know what might be amiss here? It is the chart, the FSNav AIRAC or is it me ? Best Regards from an early morning in Stockholm / Jan
Darian Phillips 928692 Posted August 16, 2007 at 06:29 AM Posted August 16, 2007 at 06:29 AM Thats because your fsnav database is not up to date. The updates are available at www.navigraph.com there you will download and install the current nav cycle which is 0708. The cycles keep changing higher usually about every 2-3 months. It cost about 2 bucks a cycle. Darian W Phillips
