newbie trying to get other aircraft to display properly

hi, im a newbie and have only just created a vatsim account.i logged on yesterday for the first time and noticed that many aircraft werent displaying correctly i realise this is because i dont hav the models for those aircraft installed but i was wondering is there some sort of software u can download to add a selection of aircraft to fs just for displaying aircraft properly on vatsim?Thanks in advance

PS:if it is of any help i have FSX with FSinn v1.2 and sorry if this topic was covered somewhere already.

What type of display problems are you having?

 

First, as mentioned in the PRC, FSInn1.2 is no longer compatible with FSX (after the release of FSX SP1). Take a look at the Announcement, Installing FSInn, http://forums.vatsim.net/viewtopic.php?t=20466 .

 

Be sure to do a full uninstall of FSCopilot/FSInn when switching versions.

firstly,thanks for replying.theres a typo in the version its actually v1.3 i read it wrong .and i shud hav been more specific the problem is that the aircraft are being displayed as the wrong aircraft eg BA b757 displayed as Ryanair B737.i believe this is because it uses the closest match from the ai traffic that u hav installed my question is if there is a software package that will put a selection of aircraft models and liverys in for it to choose from or do I just hav to get more ai traffic? Thanks again

You can install the VIP and MPP packages from the www.mcdu.com website. You'll find the specific instructions for FSX in the wiki docomeentations on the site by using VIP or MPP for the search string.
