Andrew Doubleday Posted September 4, 2007 at 09:15 PM Posted September 4, 2007 at 09:15 PM (edited) ZAU and ZMP jointly present the first ever Lake Michigan Circle Tour! Pilots will fly around Lake Michigan mimicking the popular tourist route traveled by millions of tourists each year. Starting at Chicago’s Midway airport (MDW), pilots will circle counterclockwise around the lake visiting South Bend (SBN), Grand Rapids (GRR), Traverse City (TVC), Sawyer (SAW), and Green Bay (GRB). From the bustling cities of Chicago and Grand Rapids to the Cherry Capital and farmlands of Wisconsin – enjoy a taste of many different airspaces and scenery! And also, virtual airlines will be invited to fly to these cities directly from their hubs. Be a part of a great event with a variety of traffic!
