Jason Dzurisin 917560 Posted September 24, 2007 at 03:31 PM Posted September 24, 2007 at 03:31 PM Colleagues, I am going NUTS!! Recently, each time that I log into VATSIM using either SB3 or FSINN my aircraft periodically gets "bumped" for no reason (wind stays constant...sometimes at 0) causing my aircraft to either roll backwards or get bucked up on its tail causing a crash (ouch crash...not CTD). This also manifests itself as a "windshear" effect in flight every minute or so. This does not occur in single player OR when FSINN or SB3 are open but not yet connected to the network. In an effort to remedy this situation I have done the following: 1. Uninstalled all addons 2. Uninstalled the entire sim and reinstalled with no addons (other than SB3 and FSINN)...twice. 3. Deleted FS9.CFG 4. Deleted "Flight Sim Files" under MyDocs 5. Updated to the newest FSUIPC 6. Reset both clients to default conditions 7. Moved sliders for WX update and position update frequency around. Please! I am at my last wit's end over here. Any and all troubleshooting suggestions are warmly welcomed! ~Jason
Larry James 901346 Posted September 24, 2007 at 04:29 PM Posted September 24, 2007 at 04:29 PM If you're not using the latest 1.3 of FSInn, upgrade to that. Be sure to do a full uninstall of FSCopilot/FSInn when changing versions. Check the message for details: Announcement - Installing FSInn http://forum.apollo3.com/dcboard.php?az=show_topics&forum=101 -- L. James -- L. D. For FSInn/VATSIM issues, please test the FSInn Installation sticky and linked FAQ. It really works!
Jason Dzurisin 917560 Posted September 24, 2007 at 04:54 PM Author Posted September 24, 2007 at 04:54 PM Thanks, but I did install the latest copilot/fsinn 1.3 combo fresh both times. The kicker is that it happens in SB3 too.
