Ross Carlson Posted September 29, 2007 at 03:44 AM Posted September 29, 2007 at 03:44 AM Dear VATSIM controllers, ARTCC/FIR chiefs, and facility engineers, You are most certainly aware of a tool called ServInfo and you probably use it, and/or those similar to it on daily basis. You may also be aware that this free and absolutely can't-do-without utility is quite a bit out date. Unfortunately its creator (Michael Frantzeskakis) has had to stop developing it back in 2005, due to real life commitments. Therefore, there won't ever be another official update or a new version of the software. Many VAs, ARTCCs, etc, have done their own updates for ServInfo in the past. However, due to the lack of an official distribution system, most VATSIM members do not have these updates, and thus their utility is limited. To address this issue, VATSIM has decided to compile its own “VATSIM-official†Developer: vPilot, VRC, vSTARS, vERAM, VAT-Spy Senior Controller, Boston Virtual ARTCC
