Congratulations to both Ariel and Jon!

If it isn't too much to ask, what exactly will be their responsibilities?

Not too much to ask at all Mike.

Basically I am the primary [Mod - Happy Thoughts]istant to Chris. He and I are splitting in half running the Training Department. My primary job will be developing new curriculum material and managing the certification of controllers via the testing center and through the ARTCC programs.

Chris will be overseeing the TA's and Instructors as well as updating and managing the rest of the department tasks.

Ariel is my [Mod - Happy Thoughts]istant in helping to create the new materials that we are developing for VATUSA training.

I won't go into too much detail about what we are planning but we have some neat ideas to improve training division-wide which you will start to see soon.

Hope that clears up the confusion on what we're doing. It's all basically behind the scenes stuff but at least its what I enjoy doing and I know Ariel and I look forward to helping make VATUSA Training the best it's been yet!

The true is I that will do the dirty work!

I am just kidding... is exactly as Jon said.

Actually this job is a bit easier than the previous I had. As TA I had to reworked the training material for Atlanta almost entirely as soon as I was appointed and then keeping it up to date; this came tide to the rest of responsibility the position required and trusts me I took it very seriously and it was hard (surely other TAs will support this).

At least now I'll some time to control a bit longer, though I will continue helping some of my previous students at Atlanta as a visitor instructor and of course working the training docomeents as per Jon’s request.
