Kevin Tsai 1029796 Posted October 6, 2007 at 10:06 PM Posted October 6, 2007 at 10:06 PM When I first flew my Cessna Skyhawk into Newark from Morristown in VATSIM, I was disappointed that there isn't a lot of airplanes over there as I expected that there would be. Plus, there weren't any tower, ground, and clearance delivery controllers available. Does anyone know when I could see most airplanes flying into and out of Newark and also when the most number of air traffic controllers come on? If you're posting the time in UTC, could you post it in Eastern Daylight Savings Time?
Paul Heaney 879309 Posted October 6, 2007 at 10:09 PM Posted October 6, 2007 at 10:09 PM Generally speaking Kevin, you'll USUALLY see areas come alive, during peak times. so if it's peak time in NEW YORK, then new york will typically open up, and as the night moves on and gets later, NY will die down, but Los Angeles will be peaked. But this of course will all depend on who wants to work what position, and when? if that makes sense. Basically there is no way to predict, but the above is how it typically works. Good Luck.
