I have FSX and I'm having problems downloading FScopilot.Everytime I try to install it it gives me this error near the end of the installation:Error opening file for writing:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Modules\FScopilot.dll

Anyone had the same problem maybe?Anyone have an answer?

It probably a registry error. Run FSFDTToolkit.exe from http://wiki.mcdu.com/fsinn:problemsolution . Run the Scan then click the repair button.

I did the above but still doesn't seem to work.

Do you recommend reinstalling my FSX?

Take a look at http://forums.vatsim.net/viewtopic.php?t=23806 and http://www.mcdu.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4887 .

I'm sure reinstalling FSX/SP1 would fix the problem. However, you can't just install FSX on top of FSX/SP1, you'd have to do an uninstall to do a reinstall.

What do you have in your registry at: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\microsoft games\flight simulator\10.10\SetupPath ?
