Evening,

I'm aware of the simulator server but because most of my students use VRC, is there a way to connect to the Sweatbox server so I can conduct these sessions?

P.S. Gergely, did you get my reply

Daniel,

Yes, it is possible. You can connect EuroScope to the Sweatbox servers but only as client, you can not use the simulation mode feature.

PS. Yes, I am just answering it.

You can connect VRC to a simulation started by EuroScope, just add the appropriate address in VRC myservers.txt file

Does this mean that a student can connect to the SB server and run through a training session, where the instructor is using the standard software to run the simulation ?

Are there specific ports that need to be forwarded for this to occur properly ?

thanks,

Mark,

That is correct. The SB server is just another VATSIM server from the controller client perspective. It does not require any additional setup.
