Adrian Badenhorst 1020256 Posted November 6, 2007 at 04:58 PM Posted November 6, 2007 at 04:58 PM Hey Thanks for the great client, must of been hard work! When i record single sound pieces so i can compile a atis, if you compile them the gap inbetween the sounds are very large and this is not possible to listen to, the manual reccomends editing them with an external editor, i tried to open them with editors and they say corrupt, if i right click on the sound file there are no properties for it... so the only place i can listen to or hear the file is in euroscope. The file extentions were .wav Pls help Thanks
Oliver Gruetzmann Posted November 6, 2007 at 05:52 PM Posted November 6, 2007 at 05:52 PM Hi Adrian, I suggest to record the pieces with an external recorder. The quality seems to be better and you can cut the files perfectly. I received a pretty good ATIS this way. Oliver.

Oliver Gruetzmann Posted November 6, 2007 at 10:45 PM Posted November 6, 2007 at 10:45 PM Just put them into the folder the ATIS.txt (or whatever you name it) is located and enter the content and filename in the ATIS dialogue.

Oliver Gruetzmann Posted November 9, 2007 at 02:53 PM Posted November 9, 2007 at 02:53 PM Did you create an own ATIS.txt (or whatever you like to call it) file and loaded it into the ATIS dialog? The recorded pieces have to be in the same folder as the ATIS.txt The file should be empty initially, Euroscope will fill it.
Adrian Badenhorst 1020256 Posted November 9, 2007 at 02:56 PM Author Posted November 9, 2007 at 02:56 PM yea i did create my own, i put the info in the text file as RECORD:a:a.wav
Oliver Gruetzmann Posted November 9, 2007 at 03:28 PM Posted November 9, 2007 at 03:28 PM Then try to reload it in ES or enter the data in the Voice ATIS dialog (ES creates the entries in the file on its own). If nothing works, check the files again: PCM wav; Sample Rate 7350; Mono; 16bits
