Everton Machado 822064 Posted November 7, 2007 at 03:10 PM Posted November 7, 2007 at 03:10 PM Hello people! I´m INS of VATBRZ division and we´ll start some ATC instruction projects... Could somebody tell me where can I find the TWR Trainer software to download? Is it better than ACSim for Approach training? Regards!! Ross Carlson Posted November 7, 2007 at 03:32 PM Posted November 7, 2007 at 03:32 PM You get it from your regional training director. It is not better than ACSim for approach training, because it's for Tower training. You can use it for approach training if you want, but it isn't designed for that, and doesn't always do as good a job of capturing an ILS. (It will often use too tight an intercept angle since it was designed for simulating visual pattern entry, not instrument approaches.) And it cannot track a VOR radial like ACSim can.
