Darren Kendall 963525 Posted November 17, 2007 at 03:08 AM Posted November 17, 2007 at 03:08 AM Hello, I was hoping someone could help me with a major annoyance. I've had FSX for awhile although haven't been on VATSIM much. Getting back into. I recently had to re-install my OS, XP Pro SP2. So I have also re-installed FSX. I came here and found links to FSInn 1.2 and CoPilot 1.6. I've installed those and can connect to VATSIM, talk and fly just fine. But there is an annoying semi-regular beeping sound, it's not a VOR or other nav aid or the PTT noise. I found a possible solution at http://forums.vatsim.net/viewtopic.php?t=16891&highlight=beeping+morse&sid=f8dcfa971d409e9d1944307eecff2acf However that doesn't work for me. If I disable the VATSIM voice in the FSDT then I don't hear the beep, but I also can't talk to people. Questions I have, any one know how to disable the beeping sound? Should I upgrade FSX to SP1, if so will it hurt FSInn? I saw some posts here that said FSInn didn't work with it. If I upgrade will I also need to update my FSInn and CoPilot? If so, please provide links, I've seen references to CoPilot 1.7, but can't find where to download. Any other suggestions? Thanks for your help. Rean Opperman 923715 Posted November 18, 2007 at 05:48 AM Posted November 18, 2007 at 05:48 AM You should definitely upgrade to FSX SP1. The good news is that FSInn does indeed work with it - just get FSCopilot 1.7 beta, and FSInn 1.3 beta. And you're sorted Rean Opperman - ACCSAF1 South Africa vACC (ACCSAF)
