Anthony Atkielski 985811 Posted November 17, 2007 at 11:37 PM Posted November 17, 2007 at 11:37 PM Can someone point me to a summary of what's changed at KORD since FS 2004 came out? Is it just one runway eliminated and one renamed, or is there more? I couldn't manage to download a freeware update so I went in with AFCAD and made these two changes, but I need to know if anything else has to be changed. Also, are there any commercial scenery packages for KORD that are completely up to date? FlyTampa's scenery looks out of date from what I saw on their Web site. Michael Roy Posted November 18, 2007 at 04:14 AM Posted November 18, 2007 at 04:14 AM The changes since FS 2004 came out are: 1) Rwy 9L/27R renumbered to 9R/27L 2) Rwy 9R/27L renumbered to 10/28 3) Rwy 18/36 no longer in service (it's now a taxiway, don't recall what it's called offhand) As construction continues, there will be many more changes

Andrew Doubleday Posted November 18, 2007 at 08:30 AM Posted November 18, 2007 at 08:30 AM All stated above is correct. All updated charts can be found at myairplane.com. I've posted at least twice where good updates to scenery can be found on the VATSIM forum. Search my name or something. Visit avsim.net for updates. I've also stated the changes on the pilot forum in summary format. Again - search my name for it. Anthony Atkielski 985811 Posted November 18, 2007 at 10:34 AM Author Posted November 18, 2007 at 10:34 AM Okay, thanks all. I had missed the renaming of the old 9L/27R. Fixed now. Maybe now I can risk a visit to KORD. (I have a short list of airports I never visit because of scenery issues.)
