Newbie Hi, Iftikaar. I commend your effort to use pilot jargon, but I don’t think you’re referening to transponder in the wrong content. As for the transponder, you would set the squawk code on your cockpit’s tranponder radio. When the controller tells you to Squawk Mode Charlie, you’d click the “S†sticky: Not a regular post, but a special thread/message stuck to the top with special meaning… containing important forum information. For FSInn/VATSIM issues, please test the FSInn Installation sticky and linked FAQ. It really works!
Iftikaar Hussain 1033579 Posted November 22, 2007 at 01:15 AM Author Posted November 22, 2007 at 01:15 AM Thanks for you answer Larry. I think i should have divided my question into 2 parts. You have answered both for me though. Ya yesterday when i was online ATC asked me to switch my transponder on and i believed it was something to do with my Squawk. But from ur answer i understand is all i need to do is to click where "s" is written in FSInn so that it changes to "C" charlie. I totallyunderstand that, that has nothing to do with the radio itself but i have the answer so thanks for that. As for me not being able to talk to ATC i will read up on your link that you have provided.
