Ian Elchitz 810151 Posted December 18, 2007 at 07:44 PM Posted December 18, 2007 at 07:44 PM Still waiting. Sent another email with less "season spirit" and got a response. Not entirely thrilled with it but agreed to wait it out a few more days. I guess the mail these days is being transported by rickshaw. Those sled dogs Wayne referred to in another post would have been there by now. ZLA Director of Pilot Relations
Shawn Goldsworthy 925085 Posted December 19, 2007 at 03:53 AM Posted December 19, 2007 at 03:53 AM Haha not to mention the backlog in mail this time of year. I got mine in the mail today from .com. I think rickshaw or dog sled is still quicker than UPS though. Wayne Conrad 989233 Posted December 23, 2007 at 03:15 PM Posted December 23, 2007 at 03:15 PM With beta 12, they've got a winner. I ran this thing online all day yesterday without a single crash. xsquawkbox and Sandy's track-IR plugin: all ran just fabulously. Also with several "old" ( v8 ) add-on planes. Had a blast. v9 isn't crash-o-matic for me anymore, so hopefully it'll be just as good for you, too. Give it a try online. Good luck! Keith Smith Posted December 23, 2007 at 03:29 PM Posted December 23, 2007 at 03:29 PM Agreed, Wayne! The background scenery loading no longer crashes my core duo win xp box. They weren't exaggerating when they said scenery loads are down to less than 1 second. What a pleasure for online flight!
