Alan Zeidan 824939 Posted December 13, 2007 at 12:57 PM Posted December 13, 2007 at 12:57 PM Hi, guyes, I´m working on my newest VA project and I need to receive from each flight the aircraft fuel and payload weights. As long as I know, the servers from where we get who´s online data don´t record weights. I´m trying not to use add-on solutions like FSP[Mod - Happy Thoughts]engers, Flight Keeper, Flight Tracker, FSACARs or anything else. Do you know a web way to obtain the aircraft weights from a flight online at VATSIM? And what about another soluction that you think about? Best regards, Alan Zeidan
Steven Perry Posted December 13, 2007 at 05:40 PM Posted December 13, 2007 at 05:40 PM I can't think of any reason why VATSIM would collect aircraft weights. FSUIPC or the MSFS SDK probably have a way of reporting that value out if you don't trust the pilots to report manually. Weight is something pilots should be conscious of whether they're flying a two-seater or an A380. Steven Perry VATSIM Supervisor
Tim Krajcar Posted December 13, 2007 at 06:21 PM Posted December 13, 2007 at 06:21 PM This is definitely not obtainable via VATSIM. You will need to write a program that interfaces with FSUIPC (or SimConnect, if it's FS X only) that every pilot would have to run to get this data.
