Diego Vasquez Posted December 28, 2007 at 03:04 AM Posted December 28, 2007 at 03:04 AM I am having a problem where my PMDG 737 is not being able to flight straight... I'll try explaining: I noticed it first when doing an autopilot ILS landing, it was approaching the runway at a different angle and the runway itself seemed to be on a different position on the electronic displays. When I touched down, I had to turn the airplane to actually follow the rwy heading. Later I noticed that while navigating, the nav path seemed to be drawn with 15 degrees difference with the aircraft heading. On another occasion, I was overflying the airport with a fixed MCP HDG and you could see the airplane was literally following a different direction from the ground movement. I checked the Simulation settings and yes, I have Gyro Drift disabled, this has happened on different airports, even while at cruise altitude. A few screenshots: Here the interesting part is, I was obviously not aligned with the runway, but the Aircraft was flying straight supposedly aligned with the ILS beam! Here the aircraft is trying to capture the LNAV line, it is kind of following the flight path but without touching it and on a different angle: Another example, the Aircraft allegedly flying straight, ILS captured, but it is NOT headed for the runway. On this specific flight I allowed it to go all the way in and it hit the ground misaligned, short and to the left. Any ideas? * Vatsim P1 * | https://vatstats.net/pilots/1031173
Diego Vasquez Posted December 31, 2007 at 04:00 AM Author Posted December 31, 2007 at 04:00 AM I just flew 3 short trips using the 737 Experience both with VOR navigation and vasFMC, worked like a charm (except the wacky 737Exp APP mode, no surprises there). So I am [Mod - Happy Thoughts]uming something is wrong with the PMDG itself... Really, nobody has had similar probs? * Vatsim P1 * | https://vatstats.net/pilots/1031173
