Hey,

I'm still new to VATSIM, just a couple of questions,

1. How would i put an airway into an FMC? I have tried with Wilco's Airbus series and PMDG's 737 by typing in the name of the airway and it won't accept it. I know i'm doing it wrong so can anyone help me? I want to start flying IFR soon but i need to know this.

2. On VATSIM UK, i often go to the bookings page to see where i could fly from and to on paticular days. I parked myself on the GA apron at Jersey last night after consulting the boookings calendar and seeing that someone was going to control at the specified time. I was there, but the controller wasn't. On the bookings calendar, there are some in bold and some not. Can someone explain the difference and also some are in magenta and some are in green. What's the difference between the two of these also?

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Best Regards

Hi George. Can't help you with the FMC I'm afraid.

Re the UK bookings, if you click on the Bookings Calendar Link at the bottom of the list of bookings, and then scroll down to the bottom of the calendar that comes up, you'll see a full explanation of the colour coding. An entry in bold means the booking is confirmed; and entry in light italics is either a mentoring session or exam that has been requested and not yet confirmed.

If you want to know more specific stuff about the UK, you would do better to post in VATUK's own forum at http://www.vatsim-uk.org/forum/index.php
