Robert Tonkin 887360 Posted January 2, 2008 at 06:51 PM Posted January 2, 2008 at 06:51 PM This morning I installed FSCoPilot and FSInn and configured the control panel per the pdf instructions. I believe I may have logged into the VATSIM network at KSNA gate 8 as N3155P in error as I received notice the host had given me the boot after a few minutes of sitting there. I expected an amber status light upon installing and starting and found I had a green with S for Squak status, but no Chat button blinking (per instructions) so I figured I wasn’t on the network. At any rate… If I popped in I don’t as yet have my USB headset and mic, should be here in a day or two.. please send my apologies to the controller for the unresponsiveness! I guess I can figure the software installed OK! I will be doing my ZLA certification check rides over the next few weeks as well as flying my 20 hours VATSIM before using both to apply to AvA. When I am ready to verify VATSIM online status in the next few days would the proper procedure be to file a flight plan through FSInn and in the comment section let them know I will be showing up at the ramp at KSNA to listen and ensure good software connect and voice comm.? Thanks! N3155P
