Joshua Minchenko 1016232 Posted February 18, 2008 at 05:26 AM Author Posted February 18, 2008 at 05:26 AM VATSTAT has exceeded all our expectations with hundreds of people viewing their flight information everyday, in countries as close as New Zealand and as far away as Israel and Russia. We thank the VATSIM and especially the VATPAC community for their continued advise, suggestions and support as we strive to make VATSTAT the best it can be. In this light we have implemented several new features to the flight board: VA Filter A popular new feature is the VA filter. The main flight board shows all the online flights in Australia with an active flight plan, but the VA filter allows you filter out all other flights, showing only those from your VA. For more information on having your VA added to the filter, see http://www.vatstat.com/?q=help Flight Details You can now click a flight's callsign from any VATSTAT flight board and view further detailed information including the operator, flight status, captain information, aircraft details, groundspeeds, altitude, planned fuel, current position on a live map, up-to-date destination/departure weather information and more. Higher Accuracy New algorithms have been implemented to provide more accurate estimated arrival times. Operator Recognistion VATSTAT can now recognise many world-wide airline operators. Main flight boards display their logo and the logo and name can also be seen on any Flight Details page. Most major Australia operators have been added to the database as well as many international operators with more added every day. Again, a big thanks to the community for their continued support. Don't forget to keep the tips and suggestions coming to [email protected].

Joshua Minchenko 1016232 Posted March 26, 2008 at 11:01 AM Author Posted March 26, 2008 at 11:01 AM In line with our schedule of new features, VATSTAT is proud to present our new updates. ATC Board We got many requests to make a flight board for ATC, so we've now created an ATC Board. This shows all online Air Traffic Controllers in Australia. myStat This is our coolest feature yet. You can now register and login to VATSTAT and customise your flight boards to display only the flights you want to see! Support Ticket Centre We've now implemented a more advanced and efficient support system. If you cannot find the answer to a question in our help section you can follow the links to open a new Support Ticket to aquire [Mod - Happy Thoughts]istance from one of our trained support staff. To see these awesome new features and more, go to http://www.vatstat.com We've also created a new promo video to explain these features in greater detail: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IfSwGjYbEFA With these new systems being slightly complicated, there are bound to be bugs and quirks. If you see something amiss, give us a shout via a support ticket. Comments and suggestions are, as always, quite welcome via the same method.
