Erwin Knobbe 813097 Posted January 30, 2008 at 06:15 PM Posted January 30, 2008 at 06:15 PM Hello, I have a problem with the range selection when connecting. I have selected 10nm for GND use, but when i am connected i can see al planes logged in on the network. Is this a bug or am i missing something? I can't remember i had this before. Kind regards, Erwin
Andreas Fuchs Posted January 30, 2008 at 06:53 PM Posted January 30, 2008 at 06:53 PM Hallo Erwin, this is the big advantage of Euroscope: before you connect yourself as ATC to VATSIM, ES already downloads the data-file that is also used by programs like Servinfo and shows you the current traffic. When you then connect to VATSIM you see your local traffic and the data from all over the world. The local traffic within your range is updated as usual every 5 in 5 seconds, the other planes are just calculated from the Servinfo data-file and you cannot track them or edit their flightplans.
