Elfeky 1044 Posted February 6, 2008 at 06:50 AM Posted February 6, 2008 at 06:50 AM hi people , first i want to thank you all for the forum and especially the FAQ section which i found a very useful answers for my questions but i have a problem in logging into the VATSIM using VRC i go to connect as usual and type all the nessery information i need like the ID and the p[Mod - Happy Thoughts]word and the position and so on , than i click connect and it keeps saying "connection to Network " without any further action . note : i use the university wireless internet connection to log in , so maybe the problem is caming from there , so if its correctly the problem , could you tell me the ports i have to open in Windows firewall > Adavced > Network connection settings info about my PC Dell Latitude D 630 Windows XP sp2 256 Detected VGA Card ( Mobile Intel 965 Express Chipset ) 1 GB rams VRC 1.2.1 Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0.0.119 ( Open all the ports for the VRC) thanks and have a good day ,,, Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

My guess is that the university firewall is blocking ports. The required ports are listed in the VRC manual.
