Harold Rutila 974112 Posted February 10, 2008 at 07:14 AM Posted February 10, 2008 at 07:14 AM In the United States (VATUSA), many ARTCCs are staffed from around 2200 - 0300Z, give or take. In other countries, I would imagine that ATC/pilots come online in the evening hours as well, as we do in the US.
Norman Blackburn Posted February 10, 2008 at 08:13 AM Posted February 10, 2008 at 08:13 AM Jesse, Australia (VATPAC) is most busy during the evenings, particularly 1800-2200. There are events throughout the week with the emphasis being on Tuesday night. Check www.vatpac.org for more details. Norman

Vipul Reddy 1007855 Posted November 7, 2008 at 08:39 PM Posted November 7, 2008 at 08:39 PM I think Friday night is pretty good as everyone gets back from work, Saturdays and Sundays are alright.
Matthew Iselin 1061577 Posted November 12, 2008 at 08:00 AM Posted November 12, 2008 at 08:00 AM The best times are around 0700Z to 1200Z, that's our evening and you can usually get a controller on. If us controllers see enough traffic we generally connect (otherwise we sit there for hours on an empty scope).
