In the United States (VATUSA), many ARTCCs are staffed from around 2200 - 0300Z, give or take.

In other countries, I would imagine that ATC/pilots come online in the evening hours as well, as we do in the US.

Jesse,

Australia (VATPAC) is most busy during the evenings, particularly 1800-2200.

There are events throughout the week with the emphasis being on Tuesday night.

Check www.vatpac.org for more details.

I think Friday night is pretty good as everyone gets back from work, Saturdays and Sundays are alright.

The best times are around 0700Z to 1200Z, that's our evening and you can usually get a controller on. If us controllers see enough traffic we generally connect (otherwise we sit there for hours on an empty scope).
