Axis works on analyser, but doesn't in FS9 [Hotas Cougar]

This isn't exactly relevant, but I didn't want to sign up to another forum just because of this.

I configured my Hotas Cougar and everything went almost fine - all the axes'n'buttons work fine on the HotasView program. I [Mod - Happy Thoughts]igned everything, fired up the default Cessna flight to check everything was working. And it turned out my Range axis isn't working there. I can [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ign it nicely - it understand I'm moving it, it moves absolutely correctly in the viewer program. But does not work ingame no matter what function I [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ign to it. Suggestions?
