Harold Rutila 974112 Posted March 23, 2008 at 10:50 PM Posted March 23, 2008 at 10:50 PM The title says it all... I've been trying to set up a virtual tower view, however when VRC and Flight Simulator 9 are running simultaneously, my computer completely freezes up for about 30 seconds. Then, everything returns to normal, however the cycle repeats until I close flight simulator. This doesn't just happen when I try to set up the VTV using a multiplayer session. This happens whenever Flight Simulator loads a flight when VRC is running. It does not happen at the FS menu or during the flight-loading process. Paul Byrne Posted March 24, 2008 at 04:49 AM Posted March 24, 2008 at 04:49 AM Hi Harold, Personally, I think it's a lack of CPU resources (Celerons aren't that great for graphic intensive apps/hardcore gaming) and a lack of RAM. I run an AMD Athlon64 3400+ with 2Gb of RAM and an ATI Radeon X1600XT(256Mb) and using VRC and FS9 together still causes a slow down in my system. It may be time for an upgrade if you want to run the two together. Cheers! Paul.
