This event is for pilots to enjoy flying VFR with high concentration of other VFR traffic. This event is made to represent the real-world Fun and Sun event also held in Lakeland. If you are planning on attending it is critical that you retrieve the procedures and watch the video in the link posted below, as there will be peculiar procedures due to the high concentration of VFR traffic. I've never attended, but I would imagine that the real-world Fun and Sun event that you mentioned takes place during daylight hours...
