When i requested clearance from the Tower, the tower said he could see me as an observer and not a pilot. After numerous attempts to connect as a pilot and not as a observer, when i again contacted the tower, he could still c me as an observer. When you start FSInn before you connect go to the screen where you enter your name. At the top is a checkbox for OBS - make sure this is not selected. When you connect you should now show as a pilot.
