We are now accepting applications for the position of VATEUD6 - Events Coordinator & VA Liaison Applications will be accepted until May 17th 2008 by eMail only addressed to vateud2 (at) vateud.org. VATEUD6 area of responsibility is threefold: On one side he is responsible for organizing large, division-wide events, and he his duty also is to support vACC in organizing and promoting their events. On the other hand he has to maintain a liaison to Virtual Airlines in the VATEUD area, and to include them in event planning and organizing. And finally he is charged with managing a small but exclusive group of pilots who can be activated for specific tasks such as providing sufficient traffic for Controller Practical Examinations. VATEUD6 is a full VATEUD staff position with full voting rights on all staff subjects. The primary tasks are: * Coordinate Events, like Fly-Ins and Group flights, within the rest of the Division's VACCs * Organize major Events that involves all Division's VACCs * Promote Division VACC Events * Contribute to a future VATSIM events calendar * Liaise with Virtual Airlines from in- and outside the Division, for anything they may need from the Division (events, contact information) * Division's Point-of-contact for VATSIM's main VA Coordinator * Maintain and Manage an in house VATEUD TD VA for specific tasks from time to time. This is a very demanding position in VATEUD staff, and you should ensure yourself that you can devote significant time to your work. It requires a good knowledge of the VATSIM VA scene, experience with organizing events, and good relations to vACCs and VAs. Good graphical skills, and knowledge in web programming are also highly desirable.
