VATEG Joins Simroutes.com !

 

 

Continuing the growth of VATEG - VATSIM Egyptian vACC. We are proud to announce that VATEG Is now an active vACC and member on simroutes.com

 

simroutes.com has been the selection of most of VATSIM Experienced pilots as their Flight Preparation source and a Part of their dispatching for every flight

 

By joining simroutes.com, VATEG Route Administrators will be able to always provide latest routes directly uploaded to the Sim Routes server

 

Now you can just type any Departure And Destination Airports with in Cairo FIR or international even and Download your Dispatch Sheet Right Away for your favorite addon.

Marsa Alam (HEMA) Airport Scenery Is Coming !

 

 

A Group of VATEG Members are currently putting the last touches on VATEG First scenery project which was chosen to be Marsa Alama International Airport.

 

Until very recently, Marsa Alam (Arabic: مرسى علم‎) was a small fishing village in Egypt, on the west coast of the Red Sea. However, it has rapidly increased in popularity, and since the opening of its International Airport back in 2001, it has started to become yet another favourite holiday destination on the Red Sea Riviera. In fact, most informed observers believe that it is destined to become as popular a resort as Sharm el Sheikh and Hurghada, within the next few years. However, its airport is still small and, as of May 2007, had only one departure gate.

 

The Project is led by VATEG Member : Dr. Hamdy Amer

VATEG Mentors are also working those days in getting some new controllers active including working on a Public Relations campaign to attract a number of REAL Air Traffic Controllers at some Egyptian Airports
