Atlanta is looking for two individuals to fill the positions of Training Administrator and Web Master.

 

The Atlanta ARTCC is accepting applications for the position of Training Administrator.

 

Qualifications should include:

• At least C3 (I-1 Preferred or previous I-1 rating)

• Team player

• Very active on the network

• (Highly desired) Managerial experience

• (Highly desired) Educator experience

 

Duties:

 

Reports to the facility’s [Mod - Happy Thoughts]igned Air Traffic Manger; collaterally responsible to the VATUSA Training Director.

 

Responsible for the efficiency and effectiveness of the Center’s training program.

 

Functions as a VATUSA Training staff member.

 

Attends periodic meetings to report on training activities and stay abreast of current training requirements.

 

Provides the Training Director with reports on the general state of the training department of the ARTCC.

 

Establish and maintain an efficient training program for the ARTCC.

 

Establishes a Training web page for the ARTCC and oversees its maintenance.

 

Recruits and nominates Center Instructor candidates to the ATM and VATUSA Training Department.

 

[Mod - Happy Thoughts]ists the Training Director in monitoring the performance and activity of Center Instructors.

 

Conducts controller testing and training as defined, and in accordance with, the VATUSA Training Department.

 

Works in conjunction with the Air Traffic Manger to establish a staff of "Mentors" to [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ist new controllers and guests, and to monitor their performance.

 

Maintains close communication with the Center Staff and the Vatusa Training Director on all training matters.

 

Performs Center Instructor duties.

 

Other duties as required by the ATM

 

Maintains an on line presence on the VATSIM Network.

The Atlanta ARTCC is currently accepting applications for a Webmaster.

 

The candidate must be proficient in;

 

HTML (XHTML a plus)

PHP

MySQL

Troubleshooting

 

Knowledge in the following is not required, but is highly preferred;

 

Web Design

Javascript

Graphic/Image Creation

 

The candidate will be responsible for;

 

Maintaining the website on a day to day basis.

Create new web pages as needed to further enhance the site.

Create new programming to reduce the operational workload.

Other duties as required.
