Description: The vZID ARTCC is looking for a webmaster to help maintain our website and [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ist in the development web based applications to help in the administrative efforts of staff. Individual will be working closely with all staff members of the ARTCC in this effort. Candidates must be able to meet deadlines.

 

Qualifications intermediate or better:

PHP

MySQL

HTML

Java

Graphics

VATSIM S3 or higher.

 

Familiarity with Joomla a plus

 

Candidate must have a strong online presence and be able to work well with others.

 

Please provide an example of previous work, designs, graphics, web pages or programs you have either designed or worked on. References requested.

vZID seeking Facility Engineer

 

Description: The vZID ARTCC is seeking an individual to help in the development and maintenance of sector, position and alias files. Individual will also [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ist in maintaining facility docomeents. Individual will be working closely with all staff members of the ARTCC in this effort. Candidates must be able to meet deadlines.

 

Qualifications

 

Use of Tools in the development of Sector files for use with VRC.

Understanding and knowledge of how to update sector files based on current AIRACs.

Understanding of POF files.

Understanding of Alias files and how they are used.

Ability to enhance Sector file with useful aids to [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ist controller.

Strong working knowledge of all VRC functionality.

 

Candidate must have an online presence and be able to work well with others.

 

All candidates are required to interview for position.

 

Successful candidate must become member of the vZID ARTCC. This is a vZID staff position.
