Just a reminder to general aviation pilots who fly in VATUSA, ZSE (Seattle) ARTCC is hosting the Palouse Poker Run this Saturday, May 31 from 2pm-6pm PDT!

For those who have never participated in a Poker Run before - essentially you fly from airport to airport (of the features ones) and each time you depart an airport, you contact the "Dealer" for a card. After you've flown to all the airports and have a full hand, whoever has the best hand, wins! Prizes have been donated from HiFi Simulations and Flight1, and it all comes down to luck of the draw, there's no bluffing needed in this game!

More event details are available here: http://www.seaartcc.net/general/events/event.cfm?eventid=44

We also have a preview of what the live status page for pilots will be: http://www.seaartcc.net/general/events/pokerrun2008/status.cfm

Don't forget to send your name, VATSIM ID, email and callsign either prior to the event or during the event via an email to poker [at] seaartcc.net, so you'll be eligible for prizes! As you can see on the Event page, we're staffing everything in eastern Washington...and the weather forecast so far is calling for VFR conditions.

Fire up that Cessna, Piper, Beech, whatever...even your Boeing -- and come for a fun afternoon in ZSE!

Nick Bartolotta - ZSE Instructor, pilot at large

"Just fly it on down to within a inch of the runway and let it drop in from there."

- Capt. Don Lanham, ATA Airlines
