Keith Smith Posted June 6, 2008 at 02:36 PM Posted June 6, 2008 at 02:36 PM The server hosting the Los Angeles ARTCC's web site is experiencing connectivity issues. The company providing service will troubleshooting on site later today. I'll post updates here since the ZLA forum is virtually unusable right now. Keith Smith Posted June 6, 2008 at 03:41 PM Author Posted June 6, 2008 at 03:41 PM Well, that didn't take long. The tech came out, tightened a cable outside and now we're rockin'.

Andrew Doubleday Posted June 16, 2008 at 01:51 PM Posted June 16, 2008 at 01:51 PM KS, Team Speak was a bit slow last night as well... some of us got dropped from the server a few times and others complaining of choppiness with the voice. Figured you might like to know. -AJ Andrew James Doubleday | Twitch Stream: Ground_Point_Niner University of North Dakota | FAA Air Traffic Collegiate Training Initiative (AT-CTI) Graduate
Keith Smith Posted June 17, 2008 at 03:18 AM Author Posted June 17, 2008 at 03:18 AM I reseated the connection on the splitter outside this morning and all was well. We had a pretty decent thunderstorm this evening (delay between lightning and ear splitting thunder was about 1/4 sec), and now the connection is horrible again. I'll be calling the cable company in the morning and suggest they swap out the splitter. Apparently they can be flaky. It's business-grade service, so the support response time is actually pretty decent. I will post updates here since the zla forum is close to unusable. Gerry Hattendorf 935415 Posted June 17, 2008 at 03:51 AM Posted June 17, 2008 at 03:51 AM Keith, are you sure you just haven't overloaded your server with your private 'sweat-box' for your daughter? I feel your pain, at work we have been experiencing Internet issues as well. Gerry Hattendorf ZLA Webmaster VATSIM Supervisor
