Ken Denman Posted May 13, 2005 at 07:41 PM Posted May 13, 2005 at 07:41 PM Has anyone attempted to generate a script which will fully automate the start sequence for the various applications (FS2002, Multiplayer, connect, sqawkbox, ivc, etc, etc based on a few input fields. The script could also standardise on the build software based on OS and current application versions. I realise it would require considerable interaction with the FS API and the other applications but the benefits of a consistent start everytime would minimise problems with servers and frustration with sequencing errors. I have looked for something similar without success.

(For Linux more easy like 1.2.3, but Windows) You can create some kind of automated start sequence using my freeware KeyMacro http://hem.p[Mod - Happy Thoughts]agen.se/lvedin/dk/freeware/fs , by create your own macros. However the KeyMacro do not know when an application is loaded and ready. You have to set timers your self. Personally I don't see the benefit, 'cause it's more work and problem than gain and each start sequence may not apply good for different users. While KeyMacro apply very well with some other tasks. / Lennart Vedin /
