Fatmir Jusufi 1001462 Posted June 29, 2008 at 09:55 AM Posted June 29, 2008 at 09:55 AM (edited) Hi all, I'm just interested to know what kind of PC is compatibile for FS9 or FSX?! I have doubt between notebook and PC. Here are the specs: 1. Acer Santa RosaT5750,16"WXGA, 4GB,250GB, Home Premium, Nvidia 9500 512MB,BluRay 2. Gamer QuadCore Q6700,4GB,GLAN, DVD/DVDRW,9800GTX 512MB,1000GB It seems that PC has specs to run even FSX but does FS9 supports Quad-Core Processor because I'm not planning to run FSX! Really appreciate your help. Regards, Edited June 29, 2008 at 12:39 PM by Guest Fatmir Jusufi 1001462
James Harvey 959593 Posted June 29, 2008 at 10:52 AM Posted June 29, 2008 at 10:52 AM Very few games support multiple cores, and FSX/9 are not one of them Fusion Airways - The best a pilot can get.
Jim Karn 850752 Posted June 29, 2008 at 11:00 AM Posted June 29, 2008 at 11:00 AM FS9 was not written to take advantage of multiple cores, however FSX can and will use all of the cores with SP1 or later applied. http://blogs.msdn.com/ptaylor/archive/2007/05/15/performance-work-in-sp1.aspx Regards, Jim Karn
Ian Elchitz 810151 Posted June 29, 2008 at 09:47 PM Posted June 29, 2008 at 09:47 PM X-Plane v9 makes use of dual core technology. Don't write it off - at least give the demo a chance, you might find that you like it more than Microsoft's flight sim. It seems that Flight Simulation is more useful. But sure I'll give it a try! Anyway is there any chance for Flight Simulation 2004 to support Mulitple-Core Fatmir Jusufi 1001462
