Andy Burran 1051795 Posted July 9, 2008 at 06:41 PM Posted July 9, 2008 at 06:41 PM Hey Guys, When I click "Fly Now" to start my flight, it will load and show the default cockpit screen for about 1 second and then reload. This just started happening last night. I also noticed that when I try to change the time of day, it will load correctly the first time. When it reloads, it will go to the actual time of day. Does anyone know why it's doing this? It's annoying. I'm running XP with 4GB of RAM and nVidia 9800 GC Thanks for your help!

Ricardo Silva 1075227 Posted September 14, 2008 at 08:33 PM Posted September 14, 2008 at 08:33 PM I think u should turn off time sync if u have it on the hardest thing a pilot can do is drive to an airport.
Antonio Palmieri Posted September 21, 2008 at 12:55 AM Posted September 21, 2008 at 12:55 AM When MSFS loads a saved flight, it reads the contents of a .FLT file in the User\Docomeents\Flight Simulator Files folder. You can view its contents by opening the file with notepad. In this file there is a section [DATE & TIME] When you load the saved flight, FS will first load the flight with the saved data (date and time included) If you have any kind of time sync option enabled, FS will load the scenery again according to the current time of day. If it differs from the saved one, it will load the scenery again with the appropriate lighting. Time sync can be enabled using FSInn copilot, FSUIPC, and more. I hope this helps. Let us know. Robert Halmich Posted November 5, 2008 at 07:11 AM Posted November 5, 2008 at 07:11 AM I have been searching for days as to why FSX loads and then reloads with the current time of my computer and made no difference as to what time I selected. I deleted the saved flights and deselected "Sync Zulu Time Automatically" in FSInn (do not remember if I had selected that myself) and all is back to normal. I owe you thanks for providing an answer to my question that I had posted over at Avsim. Honestly I spent the last 3 to 4 days at home and at work typing different variations of the time sync problem that I and the first poster was looking for an answer for. Have a great day, best regards, Robert CYVR
