Colin McFadden 1021920 Posted July 17, 2008 at 09:11 PM Posted July 17, 2008 at 09:11 PM Hey guys, my cousin recently gave me some of his FS software because he is going to college, and is selling his computer and has no need for them anymore. Anyways, one of the things he gave me was the PSS 757 that I have merged with the POSKY 757 from my VA's fleet (MetroAir Virtual). There is one big problem I am having, though. Whenever I set a speed and press Autothrottle > Speed/Mach, the airplane sets itself to full power, exceeds the speed I [Mod - Happy Thoughts]igned, and of course, overspeeds. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? I can't seem to find much when googling the problem. Thanks everyone! EDIT: By the way, here is the section in my aircraft.cfg for autopilot (under contact points): autothrottle_available=1 autothrottle_arming_required=1 autothrottle_max_rpm = 110 autothrottle_takeoff_ga=

Aggrey Ellis 964561 Posted July 19, 2008 at 03:44 PM Posted July 19, 2008 at 03:44 PM You have to change the title in the aircraft.cfg to PSS Boeing 757-200 so the gauge knows what 757 variant you are flying and try using the PSS FDE.I hope that works for you. Here's an example of what my merge looks like. [fltsim.0]title=PSS 757-200 PW Northwest NC sim=PSSB752_PW model= panel= sound=pw texture=nwa atc_id=N505US atc_airline=Northwest atc_flight_number=NWA330 atc_heavy=0 ui_manufacturer=Boeing-PSS ui_type=757-200 PW ui_variation=Northwest Airlines description="B757_200 with Pratt & Whitney 2037 Engines." atc_id_color=0x00000000 atc_id_font=Verdana,-11,1,600,0 visual_damage=1 atc_parking_types=GATE,RAMP atc_parking_codes=NWA ZLA I11 VATCAF S1

I have a same problem, but i resolved it today. So! After you make a PSS/Posky merge you have to do this: 1. Copy inside your PSS-B752P foder, file named: PSSB752P_PW.air 2. Paste this file to your Posky aircraft folder. 3. Open your Posky aircraft.cfg -file, and change sim=PSSB752_PW That's all. Now you using Posky MODEL and PSS 757 PANEL with PW engines. Now AUTOTHROTTLE works fine. Example my plane: (Finnair 757-200 PW) [fltsim.0] title=PSS 757-200 PW rear hatch exit Finnair sim=PSSB752_PW model= panel= sound= texture=oh_lbs If you used B757 with Rolls Royce engines do this. 1. Copy inside your PSS-B752R foder file, named: PSSB752_RR.air 2. Paste this file to your Posky aircraft folder. 3. Open your Posky aircraft.cfg -file, and change sim=PSSB752_RR That's all. Now you using Posky MODEL and PSS 757 PANEL with RR engines. Now AUTOTHROTTLE works fine. Example my plane: (TuiFly 757-200 RR) [fltsim.1] title=TuiFly Nordic SE-RFP B757-200 Winglet sim=PSSB752_RR model= panel= sound= Regards: Mika Virolainen.
