Nicholas Cooper 1015724 Posted July 23, 2008 at 12:43 AM Posted July 23, 2008 at 12:43 AM So I have fs9 and when I am in fs9 no matter online of offline or what I am doing in fs dosnt matter. If I am in fs for more than I would say 10 minutes my frame rates would go down from 35 to 10. I tried lowering my frames my graphic's nothing will work. I unistalled 3 times and still nothing. The only way for my frames to come back up is if I click out side of fs. So I cant hear sound of the aircraft but when I click on fs it will than go back down. I know this is very weird and I do not know if anyone could help but if you can it would be greatful. Thank You
Steven Perry Posted July 23, 2008 at 02:01 AM Posted July 23, 2008 at 02:01 AM Wild guess: processor heating up and then throttling performance to keep the temp under control? Does it happen in any other processor-intensive applications? Steven Perry VATSIM Supervisor

Luis Cortez Posted July 23, 2008 at 02:45 AM Posted July 23, 2008 at 02:45 AM You don't run Photo shop at the same time do you? I'm not sure I understood that part Luis Cortez
Ian Oliver Posted July 23, 2008 at 06:06 AM Posted July 23, 2008 at 06:06 AM Can you list your computer's specifications? Amount of memory Amount of disk space, free disk space Processor and speed Graphics card Are you on-line or not? What speed is your internet connection? Check what you have running at the same time, eg: anti-virus etc Check your FS9 settings and make sure they're not too high...allow FS9 to select the default ones (there is a button to do this IIRC). Remember, any more than 30fps is wasted on humans Ian
Luca Benelli Posted July 23, 2008 at 06:13 AM Posted July 23, 2008 at 06:13 AM what happens if you press "Q" (turns sound on/off) ? If it solves you need a different audio driver... Luca Benelli - C3 - P2
Nicholas Cooper 1015724 Posted July 24, 2008 at 03:33 PM Author Posted July 24, 2008 at 03:33 PM Well see if I press q it will still do it but if I unplug my headset than the problem stops:? Does this mean I need a new sound card? Thanx
