Muhammad Siddiq 1070564 Posted August 4, 2008 at 02:11 PM Posted August 4, 2008 at 02:11 PM Hi everybody, I'm a new (super newbie) at VATSIM, I've never had a single hour at multiplayer, and I'm not sure how to start off in this heh. I would really appreciate any help I can get in this, really excited to finally fly alongside other pilots in the region I've already installed FSInn as well as ASRC, but (due to my latent stupidity/blurness quotient) I haven't been able to observe any event, let alone fly in one. Is there like a step-by-step guide as to what to do next? I realise that new fliers/ATC have to read the PRC section of the website, to which I have, but I guess something's just not registering with me. I got so far as to connecting into FSInn, I see people joining in and out of the session, but I hear nobody talking and see no planes flying. If anyone here has MSN and is willing to teach a total n00b at this, feel free to add me at [email protected]. Cheers!
Romano Lara Posted August 5, 2008 at 10:43 AM Posted August 5, 2008 at 10:43 AM It'll be better if you have posted this thread in the General discussions, anyway.. Load up your flight sim-->Click ALT-->Modules-->Start your FSInn-->Connect to the network-->Check any available ATC in your airport(if there is)-->Tune into the frequency, but be sure that you know what are you going to say if you hit your PTT this is where PRC comes handy, and before flying PLEASE submit your Flight Plan I suggest doing a VFR flight first, for it will take time before you get used flying under IFR because it comes with some procedures that you must be familiar with. and-->Go FLY!!. I hope this all makes sense. Welcome on-board and happy landings!! Romano LaravACC Philippines, Manager - Training & Standards
