Thomas Mathieu 998318 Posted August 9, 2008 at 01:09 AM Posted August 9, 2008 at 01:09 AM Good luck in your checkout, Robin Pilots, come fly into and out of this beautiful region of Central Africa and give this controller all you got! The procedures at FZAA Kinshasa D.R.C. are similar to the rest of Africa: RNAV/GPS: SID and STAR procedures upon request if you have FMC/GPS equipped aircraft. Call the controller with request, otherwise, expect vectors. NAV/INS: Visit www.vatcaf.org then select VATDRC for the charts and IFR routing/procedures. VFR: Within 20nm FZAA, expect busy IFR arrivals, departures and call controller for pattern instructions. One runway, one controller....make him sweat!!
