Matthew Frasor 1072738 Posted August 28, 2008 at 06:30 AM Posted August 28, 2008 at 06:30 AM Hello Everyone, I am new to Vatsim, but i am not new to flying online. I used to use a program called fsnav and it was wonderful, but I noticed that they no longer sell it. I would like to know if there is something of similar quality out there that I could use? Your help is greatly appreciated. Matthew
Matthew Bonnett 1053110 Posted August 28, 2008 at 06:49 AM Posted August 28, 2008 at 06:49 AM At this point I think FSCommander is the only other equivalent available, though someone feel free to correct me. If you still have FSnav though with a working registration key, you can continue to use it without a problem. AIRAC updates are still available for it through 3rd party sources which is the meat of the program. FSnav in it's final revision is fairly stable so it needs little updating that you'd expect through the developer.
Paul Heaney 879309 Posted August 28, 2008 at 06:58 AM Posted August 28, 2008 at 06:58 AM Matthew is correct, but FSNav only works with FS9, it does NOT work with FSX. However, like he said, FSCommander, is the next best thing, and works with both. Hope this helps.
