I will have that card, 4GB or RAM, Pentium4 3Ghz. How do you think it'll run F9? (\__/) (='.'=) This is Bunny. Copy and paste Bunny into your (")_(") signature to help him gain world domination. Anthony Atkielski 985811 Posted September 4, 2008 at 03:28 AM Posted September 4, 2008 at 03:28 AM Flight simulation depends a lot more on the CPU horsepower than on the graphics card, unlike many other video games. Look at the CPU, not the video card.

Abdulahad Khan 968002 Posted September 4, 2008 at 04:23 AM Author Posted September 4, 2008 at 04:23 AM Actually, I just foun out that this card is directX 8.1 so that kinf od sucks. I think FS9 requires version 9 right? But do you guys recomend any cards that maybe you might use, that is PCI compatible? (\__/) (='.'=) This is Bunny. Daniel Gomes Posted September 4, 2008 at 07:27 AM Posted September 4, 2008 at 07:27 AM .....I will have that card, 4GB or RAM, Pentium4 3Ghz. How do you think it'll run F9? Hello, I have a PIV 3.3Ghz, 2 G ram a Nvidia 7300GT 512M and I run FS9 no problems. Steady 25FPs (looked), so I will say your specs will run FS9... Erhan Atesoglu 1050499 Posted September 4, 2008 at 08:10 AM Posted September 4, 2008 at 08:10 AM Uhmm no you can do much better than that card. Heck theres even ATI models out now that are current gen and will support that processor. http://www.pond64.net
Abdulahad Khan 968002 Posted September 4, 2008 at 09:43 AM Author Posted September 4, 2008 at 09:43 AM There's a website called "Can I run it" http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srtest. That said that it'll run fs9 great, with recomended requirements. And right now I didnt even install the 4GB or RAM and have no graphics card. Erhan, is ATI the same as radeon? If so, that is the link I have. I dont know much about that company so I dont know which card would be good. Can you name one that is PCI? Thanks (\__/) (='.'=) This is Bunny. Erhan Atesoglu 1050499 Posted September 4, 2008 at 09:18 PM Posted September 4, 2008 at 09:18 PM Yes actually I dug a little deeper and realized your board doesn't support AGP. It has a built in Video card and only has PCI slots for upgrading. I would highly recommend using FS9, I think you'll have a great experience with it. As far as that ATI card goes your chipset actually has a better performance. Who knows it might even run FSX just fine. http://shop3.frys.com/product/5527250?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG I know its a bit more expensive then the one you had listed... but this should max out your expansion possibilities... And yes Radeon is a product familly name for ATi, much like Geforce is for Nvidia. http://www.pond64.net
