Peter Ingerslev Nielsen Posted September 9, 2008 at 01:58 PM Posted September 9, 2008 at 01:58 PM Dear Friends, VATEUD is pleased to announce that we are now accepting applicants to stand for the position of Membership Director VATEUD, whilst in the past this has been very much an "administrative" behind the scene position, recently we have expanded the duties we feel fall under the remit of Membership, as such the Membership Director is now truly one of the key elements of the Divisional Team. Membership Director VATSIM European Division Responsible to: VATEUD1 Responsible for: Divisional Membership Body Duties include: * Analysis of changes and trends in membership structure, such as rating progression * Regular communication with the Training Director to discuss trends such that appropriate action can be taken where necessary by the Training Department * Look at ways of maintaining high new member retention, including maintenance of vACC welcome email templates * Reviewing approving or denying Regional and Divisional transfer requests alongside VATEUD1, 2 and sometimes regional and interdivisional staff * Process rating upgrades and vACC changes on member requests, seeking approval from relevant persons where necessary * Process the EuroTest Recommendation upgrades in a regular and timely manner. Requirements: * Excellent communication and numeracy skills * Good record with VATSIM *Minimum Rating Required is that of Controller * The Candidate needs to have excellent knowledge of VATSIM's Rules and Regulations and Code of Conduct. This is one of the key positions within the Division and the successful candidate will also become a full voting VATEUD Staff member with all responsibilities and obligations of said position.
