Patrick Everhart 1014799 Posted September 22, 2008 at 01:51 AM Posted September 22, 2008 at 01:51 AM I'm running FSInn with FSX. I was wondering if I need a voice client or something of that nature. Also at an airport such as KBOS where they have 2 tower freqs, how do I found out which one atc is using? Thanks Patrick
Mark Salter 993001 Posted September 23, 2008 at 12:37 AM Posted September 23, 2008 at 12:37 AM You can always use text. Voice is preferred and offers better realism, but the choice remains yours. When there are 2 tower freq. online view the ATIS information, it will usually tell you what runways or side of the airport they are controlling. You can always just drop them a line and they will gladly let you know on the spot. According to Boston's SOP-this is the one that is normally used 128.800.
