Alfred Tang Posted October 3, 2008 at 06:49 PM Posted October 3, 2008 at 06:49 PM Dear pilots/ controllers, The Beijing Olympic received many compliments after its completion in late August, particularly for the opening ceremony. In VATSIM, we also celebrated it with a Beijing fly-in, with participants from around the world. China's aviation industry is having a steady growth over th past years. More airports and carriers have emerged to satisfy the growing demand of travel. Here at VATASIA, we would like to continue the effort by setting up a well-structured organization with sufficient human power to provide ATC service in mainland China region. Some controlers have shown interest in working ATC positions in China so I will put it as a recruitment for now. Developers will work as a team to set up website, manage docomeents, provide training for new controllers, and collaborate with adjacent divisions to organize events. Developers are recommended to spend about 2-3 hours per week for this position, including but not limited to group meetings. If you are interested, please send an email to at.shaacc (at) gmail (dot) com listing: 1) Position interested (Controllers, Instructors, Website developers, Chart and Docomeent managements, event coordinators etc.) 2) Info about yourself (Name, PID, controller's rating etc.) 3) Experiences [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ociated with controlling and management (e.g. Years of controlling, previous/ current official position held in FIRs/divisions...) 4) Brief Introduction about yourself. Applicants will be contacted after application letter have been received. This may take about 3-4 days so your patience is greatly appreciated. Thanks for your support.[/i] Alfred Tang (934809) Director | Hong Kong VACC
Yvan Ung 987353 Posted October 20, 2008 at 01:35 AM Posted October 20, 2008 at 01:35 AM I'd be happy to control at Shanghai Pudong or at Beijing Capital (if controlling in PR China gives access to all Chinese TWR positions)...
