Someone at Seattle Ground told me that i maby disabeld other aircraft, but i don't know how i can check that. Can someone plz help me? and i have also a problem with FSFDT control Panel, every time i start FSFDT Control Panel, it give an error: ''Component VATSIMVL.ocx or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid''. I already installed it again but it keeps coming. Joey De Graaf 1073385 Posted October 20, 2008 at 09:04 AM Author Posted October 20, 2008 at 09:04 AM Please refer to this thread and see if this helps. i looked at it, - Check Direct X version 9c or later, i have - Try FS in window mode (not in full screen mode), just to ensure you will see antivirus/firewall messages, done, no messages - If router, for SB3 disable UPnP in router (This is not a recommendation for FSInn user). i have a router but use FSinn(i will check if that help) - If router, you may try connect PC direct to internet to exclude router issues. i can't do, modem is downstairs and i have a device that i put in the power-point, and then i have internet. - UPnP in Windows XP services should also be disabled (but it should be default disabled in XP). i have Vista Squawkbox 3 connect automatically to FS2004, but may fail. Look FS2004 Multiplayer status and try to connect to Squawkbox 3 by hand from FS, if required. Use PC local IP-address 127.0.0.1 (if you use Squawkbox 3 at same PC as FS ) to connect FS2004 to SB3. i use FSinn -You may try set antivirus some low-secure setting. Don't know how -Or try an uninstall of antivirus in PC as it is proved sometime help. (uninstall is typical the only way to complete disable an antivirus). MAKE SURE you have firewall, a router or XP built in firewall enabled. Note you may need UNINSTALL antivirus. I shouldnt worry to try a flight just connect to VATSIM without antivirus, ive fly VATSIM two year without any antivirus. i use McAfee, but have Vista, my firewall is off... i really don't know what to do Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I don't think your firewall is off, anybody turning firewall off get virus mayby in a minute. in general: hardware firewalls: a router have firewall software firewalls: Vista has firewall (you may turn it on/off like XP i guess). Anitvirus typical have firewall (you maybe can NOT turn it off no matter what user-meny say) The router firewall should not be a problem (except for receiving voice UDP 3290 required to forward/open). FS9 for the visible airplane, software firewalls can cause problem. This is a FS9 Mulitplayer problem when connect local to a VATSIM client. Norton and McAfee has cause lot of problem to VATSIM user during years. Often only uninstall help. Make sure you always have one firevall active, e.g. Vista built in firewall. Hi, Florentino. There are a number of suggestions given to the other user that might apply to you if, as you say, are having the same problem as the other user. The other user even mentioned what he did to fix his problem. You didn’t make a reference to having followed any of the suggestions given to the other user. Since you’re having the same problem, I’d suggest that you try the same solutions and post the results. Look at the suggestion that I gave to Joey.
