"not a valid FS directory.": add 'Aircraft' dir

this is a copy of my answer to thread and is for easy searches

 

FYI:

All of a sudden, I had the same problem "not a valid FS directory."

and whereever FSX you point the Path to, no go.

But, did accept an old FS2004 directory

and when I compared and mucked around with the directories,

 

I added "Aircraft" directory in FSX folder

 

(normal FSX dir is the "Airplanes" dir for compatibility)

 

et VOILA

the FSX Path is now accepted

 

?!
