Clemens Martin Posted November 9, 2008 at 01:23 PM Posted November 9, 2008 at 01:23 PM Just made a test flight and i am impressed. Very good aircraft (XPlane 9 here). Edit: Just found out, that i cant change the fuel load (sliders get moved back to its original values). Sent a support e-mail to the EADT team: ------------- SNIP ---------- Hi EADT team, just downloaded your aircraft B737-800 v3 for X-Plane 9 and must say, REALLY REALLY GOOD JOB! Did a checkride and everything seems to work as expected. BUT: I have one problem, when ever i want to change the fuel load (engines on or cold'n dark doesnt matter), i move the sliders more to the right (lets say total fuel weight 20Klbs for example), but the sliders wont stay there, but slowly get moved back to its original value which is about 17.9Klbs. So my question is, how can you change the fuel load at all? I read through the manual, but didnt find any helpful item in there. My Installation: Intel Core 2 Dua E8400 NVidia GeForce GTX9800 512MB 4192MB Dual Channel 1066MHz RAM Windows XP SP3 X-Plane 9 (9.21 rc2) Plugins: -Airport-Navigator v1.0.2 (a moving map for ground taxi) -ILS Utility math (a ILS frequency nav/fmc auto tuner) -SimplePushback 0.5 -XSquawkBox VATSIM 1.0.2 -x737plugin Installation of the B738: -Downloaded the B738 AAL ZIP (for X-Plane 9), extracted into aircraft folder as usual -Updated x737 plugin with the Plugin update 3.0.1 from your website Any help would be suggested, as otherwise i will not be able to fly any above Short-Haul range flights Thanks in advance, Clemens Martin ------------- SNIP ---------- If anyone here has the same problem and/or knows a solution already, lemme (us) know. Roy Evans 1061333 Posted November 10, 2008 at 07:37 AM Posted November 10, 2008 at 07:37 AM I've had a issue with the N1 caret being frozen in CRZ. What I've found is editing the FMS by the CAL Air plugin, loading an FMS flight plan, or just using the keypad causes the N1 caret to freeze in CRZ. I've emailed the EADT team, but curious as to anyone else having this issue. Roy Evans II ZDV_RE, C1
Roy Evans 1061333 Posted November 10, 2008 at 03:48 PM Posted November 10, 2008 at 03:48 PM Holy cow! the team at EADT just blows me away! I emailed them last night about the FMS / N1 caret issue and has this message waiting for me when I woke up: Hi Roy!You are absolutely right - this one is internally fixed and will be out with a new plugin update within 24 hours from now. Thanks for the report! All the best, Benedikt Awesome. Roy Evans II ZDV_RE, C1

Solved: Got an answer from Mr. Stratmann You have to use the x737 menu and make a fuel request, so this is more realistic. Tested and works. Clemens Martin Posted November 26, 2008 at 02:56 AM Posted November 26, 2008 at 02:56 AM Anyone got this bird running successfully with XSquawkBox? Whenever i reload the aircraft or reposition the aircraft to a different airport or ramp (which is a must on VATSIM), XSquawkBox is not responding to keyboard input anymore. For example when i hit enter to open the XSB text inputbox (for text chat or metar,...) the default text ATC selector box opens (even with ATC disabled in XPlane). Same for a defined PTT (voice) key: No more transmission, no more PTT indicator (the little red T). Asked this question to the EUDT team already, no answer yet. Ah yeah before i forget, my system specs: Intel P4 Core Duo E8400 GeForce GTX9800 (GE92) WinXP SP3 X-Plane 9.21 RC2 Latest XSB Latest x737 (with updated plugins) Simple Pushback for XPlane
